I almost got scammed by Vanuity LLC (Part 2)

By admin | Jan 5, 2008

This is part 2 of “I almost got scammed by Vanuity LLC), if you haven read part 1, you probably might not understand what i am talking about. Read about Part 1 of this interesting post here.

As i searched for more and more information on the web, I became increasingly certain that this is a very elaborate scam.

Now there are several issues remaining. Firstly, is this company Vanuity LLC related to Richjerk? Despite his obnoxious and arrogant nature, i actually believe Richjerk truely wants to provide value to people, and i honestly liked his ebook. (You can read my reviews about his ebook here.) To be associated with Vanuity LLC would seriously affect his reputation. Secondly, this is more personal, if they were indeed related, why was my contact number given to them? I believe there are many rules regarding privacy policy when buying products. I had actually emailed Richjerk support and also posted this on the Richjerk forum and currently awaiting a reply.

As i reflect back, i am disturbed by the elaborate nature of this scam. Let me explain.

These guys are either very well trained in consumer psychology or they are out to cheat people. I really kicked myself for being so stupid and foolish to fall for their trick. They obviously know that you had bought some internet marketing product, which was how they got your attention. Then they whet your appetite by telling you that this guru that you respect is going to coach you, but it depends on your criteria and how you answer the questions. This sets you to think of how to answer the questions in the best possible way to impress him. This way you will let your guard down. Once you begin to feel floaty with the potential of the coaching program, they begin to lead you in more by asking you about your goals, and how you intend to achieve them. As you find yourself saying yes more and more times to impress him, you find yourself magically at his mercy! Make no mistake, apply these goals questions correctly, and it will serve as motivation to achieve your goals. But it could be a real double-edge sword as well, as seen in this situation. It can really makes a person drop his guard! Credit to them for making it sound so convincing.

The questions on the credit history and credit limits were also deliberate, to an extent that i feel its scary! As i reflect, i can now understand why they ask me for my credit history and credit limits, they want to find out if i can pay on time, and more importantly, with the credit limits, they designed a price that seems affordable to me! How do i know this? Because when i googled on the net, i realized different people were quoted different prices. Now isn’t that brilliant of them? The way they speak, to entice you to think that you are one of the few chosen ones, then they ask you questions on your credit history and credit limits, and while you are feeling floaty and excited, they take the details you give them and design a price that makes you feel you can afford it!

This is truely a very well-planned scam!! I meaning from the start to the end, the entire sales process was aimed at lowering your guard, and closing the sale!!

My aim of posting here is not only to get justice for myself but it is also to educate people. Can you imagine how many people could be harmed and cheated of their money from these guys! Now if i do not have the right frame of mind to check up on the phone number, i would not have known they were from Vanuity LLC. If i had still thought that he is a rep of Richjerk i could have given him my actual credit card details. Now i can only imagine if there are less savvy people there, people who do not have much internet knowledge, or know how to check up the origin of the phone number, can you imagine how many people could be cheated? I mean a refund policy of 3 days for a few thousand dollars product? That must be the most ridiculous refund policy i have ever heard about. I mean come on, how often have we left some products we bought for a few days before we start to read it. I really couldn’t imagine how many people could be cheated of their money because of that.

If you want to find out more on Vanuity LLC, you can find related post by doing a search on “vanuity llc” and you can find many postings on it. I will do my best to post this everywhere as well, and i hope people who have suffered the similar plight could do that as well. Granted, they might not be a scam afterall, but at least lets be honest and come clean from the start!

I don’t think you understand how the process for the coaching works vanuity llc is hired by and for guru’s like richjerk ect. to chose the individuals whom are to be coached and helped along to show the programs ability to create success some of your reasoning is very defensive but about how much it costs is entirely up to each client obviously the higher goals you have the more marketing and advertising tools software ect. that you will need in order to create a income to achieve these goals I agree that there are company’s out there that scam people but you cannot make that assumption based on what you have stated also anyone dialing out of the country usually runs on a phone system with multiple lines so the number is not masked it’s not a inbound phone number therefore they gave you the direct line it sounds like the person was very honest and upfront with you and seems more like you are someone who was not ready to commit to doing things the right way and that ok if you would rather be right than rich why didn’t you email richjerk and find out if they were sub contracted so to speak to do this type of work for him just advice before everyone jumps on the scam bandwagon I myself have worked with a company similar and had great success fyi thanks ruby

for all of you that think that vanuity is a scam i will tell you this they did help me perhaps the the reason you think vanuity is a scam is because you dont understand that it takes money to make money and yes they are not only affiliated with the rich jerk but several gurus out ther such as day job killer online income systems and on and on so before you ope your mouth tell me how they helped me make a 6 figure income no it didnt happen overnight but it took about 6months to a year i was chosen by mr.pauley him self who is senior director and i am ever greatfull

Then you were one of the lucky ones. I was also picked by mr. Pauley but when we tried to conntact him, he was invisable. He never did what he said he would and NEVER returned one phone call. SO here I sit with a web site and no traffic. My wasn’t this an expensive lesson?
